How Influential is your Leadership?

When you think of the best leaders that you have got the chance to work with, for or alongside what comes to mind? How were you impacted by their leadership? You can learn so much by watching different leaders and their leadership styles. How they engage their employees, clients and fellow peers. The most impactful leaders can be remembered for the way that they were able to obtain trust and influence others to follow their vision and strategy. Who are the leaders that you have been influenced by? What made you trust them or rally behind their strategies and plans? How do you take those experiences and craft them into the leader that you wish to become, ascend to or continue to evolve to? Who are the top five leaders that you are most influenced by and why? If you haven’t had the chance to identify those leaders then it's time to get started on exploring influential leaders within your industry, outside of your industry, within your personal and professional organizations, networks and/or families. Once you identify them then as a next step look at why you are influenced by them and examine their leadership styles. What makes them memorable? What makes them influential enough to have captured your attention and what aspects of them do you see that you would like to leverage in your own leadership style as you evolve. Take the time to learn more about yourself and what influences you as a leader.
